so I was pretty pissed at first when Safe decided to move to auth-only endpoints, since that would've broken my `safe-tx-hashes-util` tool mostly (you can still use the `--interactive` mode without relying on any API ofc) and gatekeeping simple tx verifications with an API key is not Cypherpunk-like at all. After some back and forth with them, they agreed to allow 1 request per second without auth (thx for being open-minded and receptive to my feedback!). I patched the script so there's _zero change in usage_. Just pull the latest main commit (you got around 1 month time before the original endpoints will stop working). This way, anyone can keep verifying the domain and message hashes of any Safe tx without ever needing an API key going forward.
🚨 Action Needed: Migrate to Safe's new API To strengthen security & reliability, Safe will retire public APIs on Oct 27, 2025. After this date, only authenticated endpoints via the Safe Dashboard will be supported.
