Takedown Tuesday - GitHub operations have now been taken offline!
If I was an evil Super AI, Alien species or rouge nation state & I wanted to take down the internet I would start with Cloudflare move to GitHub & finally take down AWS. The web is too centralized now! $BTC $DGB
🌐 It’s Takedown Tuesday — DNS: The Achilles’ Heel of the Internet
Today, half the internet went dark. The largest DNS provider, Cloudflare, went down — taking X, ChatGPT, and thousands of major sites with it.
Truly decentralized blockchains like $BTC $DGB $LTC $DASH & a handful of others kept going with no issues.
If 1 company can cause global outages, we’ve built the internet on very centralized, fragile ground.

### 🧩 What is DNS?
**DNS (Domain Name System)** is the internet’s phonebook — it translates names like “ into IP addresses like “192.0.2.1”.
When DNS fails, websites tied to those names vanish — even if their servers are fine.
That’s why I’ve said for years (and in my book *Blockchain 2035*):
👉 DNS is the Achilles’ heel of the Internet.

### ⚠️ Why It Matters for Crypto
If your “crypto” service requires a domain name, website login, or Terms of Service — it’s not decentralized.
When DNS breaks, so does your access.
Real blockchains like $BTC $DGB & a few others run directly over **P2P TCP/IP** — node to node, no DNS, no middlemen.
That’s *true decentralization.*

### 💡 Today’s Lesson
Centralized DNS made half the internet disappear.
Peer-to-peer networks kept running.
If you can’t reach your wallet or exchange because a domain failed, you’re not sovereign — you’re renting access.
Run your own blockchain full node. Connect P2P.
When the web goes dark, truly decentralized blockchains will keep running.
