In my opinion,
MegaETH seems similar in nature to Hyperliquid when viewed positively, or to Bera, Sonic, Manta, Blast, etc. when viewed negatively.
Intuitively, Monad feels more similar to them, but considering the presence of big players in its ecosystem, it actually aligns more with Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, OP, etc.
If MegaETH succeeds, it might follow a path similar to SUI. However, since EVM and non-EVM chains are fundamentally different, I've only listed EVM-based chains here.
It's hard to pinpoint exactly, but Plasma/Arbitrum/Linea, etc., generously distribute their own coins to support the ecosystem, often at the cost of price stability, resulting in TVL/FDV ratios around 1-2.
The rest either conserve their tokens heavily or represent unique cases like Hyperliquid.
It's unclear how MegaETH and Monad will proceed, but since they inevitably need to distribute tokens to build their initial ecosystems, we'll have to see how things unfold.

Or the downside pressure from VCs?
Honestly, I believe the ecosystem is the most crucial factor.
I worry MegaETH might end up playing in its own little league like Manta/Blast/Vera and eventually fail.
Monad has many native dApps, but it also has established big players, so that aspect seems solid.
However, it's puzzling that major players in lending (Aave, Morpho, Euler) haven't entered besides Curvance.
Seeing names I shouldn't be seeing, like iZUMi or Kinza... that feels unpleasant.
I received $MON airdrop from Monad, while I participated MegaETH sales with my money
so I'm a bit more keen to MegaETH
but hope both wins afterall

제 느낌이지만,
MegaETH 는 좋게보면 Hyperliquid, 나쁘게 보면 Bera, Sonic, Manta, Blast 등과 결이 비슷해 보입니다
사실상 느낌적인 느낌은 Monad 가 더 그들과 비슷해 보이지만, 생태계에 빅 플레이어들이 껴있다는 점에서 보면 오히려 Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, OP 등과 결이 닿아 보입니다.
MegaETH 는 잘되면 SUI 와 같은 Path 를 밟을수도 있을것 같기도 한데, EVM 과 Non-EVM 또한 결이 다르기에, EVM 쪽 체인만 리스트업 해봤습니다.
딱 찝어서 보긴 어렵습니다만, Plasma/Arbitrum/Linea 등은 자기들 코인을 아끼지 않고 뿌려서, 생태계 지원을 하되 가격을 깨버리는 형태라 대략 TVL/FDV 가 1~2 정도로 형성이 되는듯 하고,
나머지들은 매우 아껴놓거나, Hyperliquid 등과 같이 특이한 케이스 로 보여집니다.
MegaETH 와 Monad 가 어떤 식으로 갈지는 모르겠지만, 초기 생태계 조성을 위해 필연적으로 뿌려야 하는 물량이 있기에, 어떤식으로 흘러갈지 봐야 할것 같습니다.

VC 의 하방압력이 쎄냐의 싸움인가
사실 가장 중요한건 생태계라고 생각합니다.
MegaETH 는 잘못하면 만타/블라스트/베라 같은 '자기들만의 리그' 에서 놀다가 망가지지 않을까 걱정이고
Monad 도 Native dApp 들은 많지만, 기성 빅 플레이어들도 많아서 그점은 괜찮다고 봅니다.
다만, Lending 쪽이 Curvance 말고는 메이저 플레이어들 (Aave, Morpho, Euler) 등이 안들어온게 의아하고
봐선 안될 이름들, iZUMi 라던지, Kinza 라던지... 등을 본게 기분이 안좋네요
Monad 는 그냥 받은거고,
MegaETH 는 돈을 박은거라
후자에 조금 더 마음이 갑니다만,
