v0.2.5 Upgrade Executed on Mainnet
The governance vote is complete and Gonka v0.2.5 is now live.
This upgrade activates Ethereum-bridge primitives, Random Confirmation Proof-of-Compute, Blackwell GPU support, and several critical fixes across validator selection, state updates and reward logic.
Key changes now active:
• Ethereum bridge primitives integrated
• Confirmation PoC for capacity verification
• Fixes to participant status, paginator, transfers, BLS generation and reward handling
• MLNode updated with Blackwell GPU support (CUDA 12.8+)
Node and API updates are handled automatically by Cosmovisor.
Hosts should still monitor node status during and after the upgrade.

Gonka v0.2.5 is currently in proposal review.
The upgrade introduces a planned exchange bridge between Ethereum and Gonka and a framework for CW20-based wrapped assets.
The proposal covers finalized-block ingestion, validator-majority confirmation and governance-controlled asset lists, including USDC and USDT.
These components form the foundation for future GNK ↔ WGNK flows and multi-chain liquidity once the community reviews, approves and deploys the upgrade.
